6 Global Changes COVID 19 May Bring About

Humans have achieved tremendous achievements in various fields, advancing like Jaguar notes, trampling on all other creatures, and destroying Mother Earth, when invisible and undetected pathogens are present. Appeared. And the seemingly end-of-life pathogens kneeled the entire human race and pushed it into a terrifying herd.

For a while, I stopped bragging about artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things and started practicing how to wash my hands properly. It set us aside our cohesiveness and forced us to maintain social distance. It stopped us from expressing our confidence through a firm handshake and remained ignorant of how we greet others. Instead of ignoring coughing and sneezing as just natural reflexes, they were forced to fear them instead.

But if you conclude that only bad things are happening with the outbreak of the new coronavirus, you are wrong. The constant spread of the pandemic has brought unintended climatic benefits through reduced pollution, which has resulted in cleaner air and water. Not only this, but at least temporarily, many people avoided consuming meat and even became vegetarians. And most importantly, humanity has realized the unpleasant fact that what appears to be invincible is just an illusion and remains vulnerable to a variety of unforeseen threats.

The outbreak of the virus has created many strange situations. Normally, when a nation observes the appearance of a dangerous enemy, it burns all its guns out to neutralize it. But now they are forcing all citizens to hide behind the four walls and wait for invisible enemies to pass by. If you sit in front of your TV most of the time, you are branded as a couch potato. But now they want you to sit in front of your television for God to save humanity. And businessmen and professionals who travel around the world, usually looked up in awe, are now suspected and despised.

As deadly pathogens continue to spread like wildfires, they can bring about some fundamental changes in the way we recognize things and lead our lives. Therefore, it is timely to ponder the changes that a terrifying pandemic can bring to the world.

De-globalization:

Globalization, which has brought prosperity to parts of society, is under the scanners of developed countries to move manufacturing facilities to the Third World and allow Muslims to invade Europe with herds of asylum seekers. did. It has also created a tribe of businessmen and professionals traveling around the world who consider themselves global citizens. Currently, the same people are irresponsibly carrying the virus around the world. Their actions have been more despised among the general public towards globalization, which has facilitated the transfer of horrific viruses across national borders as well as people, goods and money. In many parts of the world, airports are closed and people flying across national borders are required to isolate themselves. Closed airports, quarantine centers, and quarantine wards may prove to be ground zero for globalization. Increasing opposition to globalization may ultimately strengthen the hands of right-wing nationalists who are likely to build high walls along the border.

Socialism:

It was capitalism that paved the way for globalization, which led to a huge increase in wealth. But all the newly discovered wealth was concentrated in the hands of a few ultra-rich people. Nevertheless, the outbreak of the coronavirus has forced governments around the world to resort to socialist measures. They bring many benefits to people, especially vulnerable people, in the form of cash transfers to compensate for unemployment. Nevertheless, the surge in socialism should not be mistaken for the resurgence of communism. Because communism with its violent history has become so unpopular that people may be willing to submit to totalitarianism again. In fact, the complete lack of transparency and conspiracy secrets maintained by the Chinese Communist regime in dealing with the outbreak of the virus is responsible for this current crisis.

Strong Governments:

For a long time, economists and social thinkers emphasized minimal government and limited its activities to some areas such as defense and police. The outbreak of the virus, which requires a great deal of effort to contain, has once again brought the importance of governmental organization to the fore. Only the institution and the powerful government with uniformed men can deal with a crisis of this magnitude. People, communities, and organizations are now seeking government support to survive the crisis. Even large companies advocating laissez-faire in peacetime are demanding relief and stimulus to initiate a slowdown.

Changing Dynamics of Crisis Management:

Usually, after every crisis, whether a terrorist attack or an economic crisis, state leaders reassure citizens not to panic and encourage them to show resilience by continuing their normal lives. But now we are observing a completely different phenomenon in which state leaders around the world are threatening to keep people indoors. People's reaction to the coronavirus threat has so far been undisciplined. If people don't fix their way, governments may even resort to the use of advanced methods to control the situation.

Mercy Towards Animals:

After the outbreak of the coronavirus, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), an animal rights organization, found out how the term "coronavirus" turned out to be a "carnivorous" anagram. Tweet to show that the pathogen is the origin of the meat market. The constant proliferation of non-vegetarianism has transformed slaughterhouses and meat markets into sources of various pathogens, in addition to causing intolerable pain and distress to animals. Most of the viruses that have plagued humankind so far are of animal origin, so if you want to contain the virus outbreak in the future, you need to reform your diet.

End of Individualism:

The 21st century popularized unlimited freedom and individualism, which gave greed and selfishness excessive justification. However, the constant outbreak of the virus has forced people to set aside individualism and withdraw into the protection cocoons of groupism by sacrificing rights and freedoms. The aftermath of the coronavirus outbreak has caused people to be very vigilant about their neighborhood, and the level of suspicion of fellow citizens has skyrocketed. The responsibility for regaining trust lies with everyone by taking socially responsible actions.

Conclusion: However, it is difficult to accurately predict the possible changes that a terrifying pathogen can bring. If it turns out to be a horrific crisis with relentless spread and increasing mortality, it may even spread hatred to some nationalities and some sections of society. It has already made many people hate the Chinese. It may even hate people who often go to frequent flyers, binge parties and shopping addictions. It may make social distance permanent, and it may love those people who reveal their introverted nature to society. Now let's wait for how the world emerges from the pandemic.
